Discovery Island has the ONLY FlowRider in the Upstate of South Carolina!
Come catch and carve up some waves on this thrilling ride where you can bodyboard or stand-up!

Flowrider Operating Policy and Procedures

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Saturday: 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

  •  All riders who want to ride will have to sign a waiver onsite and watch a safety video.
  • Riders 17 and under MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver.
  •  All riders must be at least 42″ tall.
  • Stand up (stand-board riders) must be 52″ tall.

Entering the Flowrider

To improve efficiency, to reduce risk of injury, and to reduce wear and tear on the Flowrider, riders will only be allowed to enter the ride from the front or side during parkhours. Riders will not be allowed to drop in from the top or jump in from the side.

Stand-Up Riders ONLY

Stand-up sessions during park hours are ONLY available on Sunday.
Sunday: 1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Rent the FLOWRIDER

FlowRider exclusive rentals are offered before park hours Monday-Sunday. You can do bodyboarding or stand-up during this private rental. The divider can be in or out at the request of the group.

● Whole Ride Surface $200/hr
● Only Left or Right Side $150/hr

Times:
Monday-Saturdays
● 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Sundays
● 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m
